As a teacher and examiner of AQA A Level Business and BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Business, I am all too aware of how time-poor we teachers are. My aim with these resources is to provide a turn-key solution for teachers with resources that will add value to your students and help improve grades. My shop is new so please, keep dropping by to see what new resources have appeared, alternatively drop me a line if there is something, in particular, you would like to see.

AQA Specification changes. Following the CPD session for teacher on changes to the specification from September 2023, I have annotated the changes on to the current specification so as to clearly highlight, what has been removed, added or moved elsewhere in the specification. Please feel free to download a copy, it has been created using the changes as published by AQA on their website and cross checked with my own notes from the session.
AQA GCE Business Revision checklist (2023 & 2024) As an examiner for this board, one of the biggest errors I see in students papers is that they simply repeat the information they have learned. To try and avoid my students making the same mistake, I created a revision checklist directly from the specification but, I have clearly identified what the students need to be able to do with the information. Over the years, this has meant that students go about their revision differently – instead identifying that they “know” the topic, now they have to say whether they can calculate it, analyse it, or evaluate certain factors. Revising this way puts a different slant on how students revise, not only are they checking their knowledge but, they are acknowledging what it is they need to be able to do with it.
How to Use: Students should initially assess the extent to which they are comfortable with a topic and what they need to do with it. Are they so comfortable with it, they could help their peers or, do they have an idea but, if you put them on the spot they would struggle to put it into words….so might need another look? Alternatively, they could be like a rabbit in headlights with it and would not be happy at all if a question on that comes up….I recommend they focus on these areas first!!
